  1. New film coming next week!

We’re thrilled to announce that on Tuesday, November 1 we will be releasing a new film! “Deidox: Ludmilla” is the story of an elderly Czech woman who lives at the “Embassy of the Kingdom of Heaven.”

It has been a busy few months for us here at Deidox. We’ve been finishing three new films in the midst of moving from Los Angeles to Texas. Texas! More to come next week…

  2. Beauty from pain – Alyssa (extra scene 2)

Alyssa is an inspiring story of a young girl who has been blind since birth. During our filming, we had the opportunity to hear the beautiful gift that God has given Alyssa. Below is footage from a concert where Alyssa’s performed one of her original songs. The short documentary, Alyssa, can be viewed, purchased and downloaded at deidox.com

  3. Bees & Husbands – Alyssa (extra scene 1)

The short documentary, Alyssa, is a beautiful story of how one teenager’s faith has been impacted by her blindness. We really fell in love with Alyssa’s warmth and humor during the filming of her story. In her interview, Alyssa gave us some of her thoughts on being blind. Below is a little extra footage from that interview. You can purchase, download and share with a friend the short film at www.deidox.com.

  4. What is your assignment? – Deon

The short documentary, Deon is a great example of how one individual has practically lived out his faith in the workplace. Deon is a police officer in one of the roughest areas of Los Angeles and on a daily basis has an opportunity to show compassion and justice to the “least of these” in our society. The film covers themes of justice, compassion, faith, sacrifice, and love of neighbor. You can view the film here.

Also, here are some extra scenes that didn’t make it in the film: Scene 1. Scene 2.

  5. Reject Apathy interview with Deidox

Reject Apathy is a new digital magazine and website from the makers of RELEVANT magazine. The magazine and website highlight what is being done worldwide to address five areas of justice; Loss of Innocents, Creation Care, Preventable Disease, Poverty and Violence.

Brent Gudgel was interviewed and talked about the use of film as a way to raise awareness of global issues. The article is on page 42 in the newest issue.

If anyone out there (see also: our moms) would like to pick up a print version of the magazine, you can do so at Relevant Magazine.

  6. Deon extra scene 2 – “If you have crack pipes…”

During the filming of Deon, we had a great opportunity to ride around and see some of the daily work that Officer Joseph does on a daily basis. Here is some footage from one of our “ride-alongs”. Deon had some good insight into God’s plan for our lives and why there are rules to follow. You can purchase, download and share with a friend the 5-minute film at www.deidox.com.

  7. What is Justice? – Deon (extra scene 1)

The short documentary, Deon, is an inspiring look at how one LAPD officer works to bring love and justice to some of the most overlooked people in our society. Below is a little extra footage that we captured during our filming. Deon has an incredible amount of wisdom and insight. In this short clip he talks about the issue of justice. You can purchase, download and share with a friend the short film at www.deidox.com.

  8. Who is your neighbor? – Robert

The short documentary, Robert is a great example of someone who took the story of the Good Samaritan to heart and made some major changes in the way he does his job. The film covers themes of faith, sacrifice, community, struggle and love of neighbor. Below is a trailer for the film.

Here are some extra scenes that didn’t make it in the film: Scene 1. Scene 2.

  9. Robert extra scene 2 – “The cost of health care.”

Below is some extra footage from our film Robert. Dr. Berry has some interesting thoughts on the real cost of health care. His story is a challenging example of one man who is acting on faith even when it’s a struggle. You can purchase, download and share with friends at www.deidox.com.

Here is a link to another “extra scene”: Scene 1.

  10. Great Mother’s Day video – Dawn

The story of “Dawn” is a perfect video for Mother’s Day. Below is the trailer for the film which can be purchased and downloaded on the Dawn page.

Also, here are some deleted scenes from the film: Scene 1. Scene 2.

    Happy Mother’s Day!

  11. Dawn extre scene 2 – “Not an evangelist or speaker.”

As we approach Mother’s Day, here is another deleted scene from our short film “Dawn”. Dawn is the story of a reluctant mom who discovered her important calling. This short film is available for purchase and download on our site. Happy Mother’s Day.

  12. Deidox | Dawn extra scene – “Getting locked out of the car”

As we approach Mother’s Day, we thought it would be fun to release some deleted scenes from our film “Dawn.”  Deidox | Dawn takes an honest look at a job that is often overlooked…motherhood.  This would be a perfect film to inspire and encourage mom’s.  You can purchase and download the film at www.Deidox.com
