Currently in production, Free Burma Rangers: The Battle Within will be an incredible sequel to the movie Free Burma Rangers. Over seven years after the first film, the Eubank family faces new global conflicts, cultural upheaval in the USA, and inner battles every heart must face. As the children grow, they confront the ultimate question: Will they choose to follow the family’s faith and calling – and what can we all learn from their journey toward Christ?

The Story

At its heart, Free Burma Rangers: The Battle Within is about faith under pressure. The Eubank children grow up across war zones in Burma, Syria, Afghanistan, and Ukraine, all while facing cultural and moral pressures at home. Each must decide whether to continue the family legacy of faith and faith-driven service or pursue their own path. This is a story of courage, faith, love, and the cost of standing firm – a journey spanning seven years, multiple continents, global wars and culture wars, and the hearts of the next generation.

FINDING THE STORY

(Completed) Nearly a hundred hours of interviews distilled into down into a powerful story arc for a feature film sequel.

PAPER EDIT & ASSEMBLY PREP

(Completed) 10,000 clips have been sifted and sorted, 1,000+ minutes of interviews transcribed and scoured to get the film through these phases so that it can enter the assembly.

ASSEMBLY EDIT

(Current Phase) 10 months of editing. The plan is in place. We now need support from you to help us keep going for the next 10 months on the assembly edit!

“FINISHING” FOR GLOBAL RELEASE

(Goal: This Fall) Once we can finish our assembly edit, then our distribution partner can present the film to distributors and determine the best path for a global release. With that path, they will also secure Hollywood "finishing" funds to get it theater ready.

Why a Feature Film

This project began with the hope of telling a much larger, multi-part story. Along the way, we completed years of foundational work—interviews, transcripts, story outlines, and the organization of thousands of hours of footage.

As the story took shape, it became clear that the most faithful and timely way to finish was as a single, focused film. This allows us to move decisively into editing and complete the story without waiting years for outside infrastructure or millions of dollars in funding. We spent years preparing so that when the time came, we could move decisively. That time is now.

The heart of the story has not changed. The work behind it has not been wasted.

What has changed is we’ve gained the ability to move forward and complete a film. Years of preparation have made this possible, and now every supporter can help carry it to completion.
